One of the most versatile pieces for your spring wardorbe, a blazer

To make things simple, we’ve put together a review of the fashion weeks of London, Paris, New York and Milan. Not that we’re being lazy but to focus on the key trends that might actually make it into your wardrobe.

Contradiction was key at the latest New York Fashion Week from slick tailored suits and ladylike dresses and skirts with super neat lines and figure hugging silhouettes to the relaxed sports wear looks at the opposite end of the spectrum. Both were however ultra glamorous which tells us that whether you’re wearing jogging bottoms or a two piece suit, it had better be glammed up with heels accessories and a full face of make-up. Tailored pieces don’t have to be limited to the office however; simply through a blazer over your favourite top and jeans for a casual smart look or mix it up and wear a grey jacket over black trousers or vice versa for a quirkier look. Colour blocking is a key trend for this season so why not update your working wardrobe and add a statement coloured top to your contrasting suit pieces for extra style points. Our grey blazer has been designed especially with Bravissimo girls in mind and will tie in perfectly with black trousers or a skirt thanks to its black trim detailing. Alternatively you could give a casual look a modern twist by combining a denim blazer over casual chino trousers. We think our stone coloured chinos will look great with a blue denim blazer for a quirky spin on the tailored look.
