At last! The sun has come out, it’s been positively scorching and it’s set to last into the weekend. It hasn’t taken us ladies long to get into summer mode. No sooner have we shaken off the last drops of rain from our umbrellas, next we are dusting off our flip-flops, painting our toenails, reaching for the bronzer and planning a weekend by the coast. And there’s no better place to spend your weekend than the British coast, and with The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee just around the corner, and the Olympics in July, we have lots to celebrate about the UK.
Britain has some stunning beaches, and we have more coastline miles than Italy, Spain or France. Each coastal town has its very own unique personality, some are quiet, wild and craggy, and others are polished, noisy and busy. So if you are thinking of heading off this weekend with your other half, the whole family, or the girls, why try out some of Britain’s finest beaches? You will not be disappointed, and while you are snoozing in a sea breeze, or tucking into your beach picnic, you will need some Jubilee inspired swimwear to look gorgeous in; Bravissimo can help you out there too.
The Buoy Oh Buoy Tankini by Faubourg is picture postcard perfect, it has a 1950s nautical look. 1953 was the year that The Queen was crowned, so we think it’s quite apt. It is based on the Bon Voyage style from last year, which was a hit with our Bravissimo ladies. It is an underwired tankini top with concealed back fastening bra. It is available with swim shorts or briefs, so if you are after more coverage than a bikini, but more flexibility than a swimsuit, this set could be the perfect choice. It is available in Coral and Spot.
The Offshore Halterneck Swimsuit by Faubourg available in Blueberry could be for you if you are a dedicated swimsuit girl. Exclusive to Bravissimo, this swimsuit is an underwired halterneck style and comes in this fabulous large floral print. The halterneck style is ultra flattering for bigger boobs too, it also offers great support.
The Cote D’Azur Halterneck Bikini Top by Pureda is another fifties inspired two- piece, even though the name suggests France, its red, white and blue and that’s good enough for us. The cute boat print is so on trend this summer, and the stripes give it even more of a nautical feel. Again this is an underwired halterneck which really flatters the boobs, and the bikini top is lightly padded, which increases the uplift and creates amazing cleavage. It is available in Navy/Red print and comes with matching swim briefs or swim fold briefs.
