The Melody Balconette Bra by Panache in electric blue has received rave reviews, it comes in an absolutely gorgeous shade of blue, it is very soft and comfortable and we’ve been told it gives fantastic shape, whilst still being super supportive.
We are still loving the Thrill Me Bra by Curvy Kate, here at the Bravissimo office, it has that sexy burlesque feel, it is lightly padded and creates fantastic cleavage and shape and it fits like a dream. It is available in a lovely silky fabric, in azure and plum.
The Verity Bra by Pureda in cobalt is a really sophisticated and sexy bra. It is an underwired balconette bra and is a contrast of sheer fabric and pretty embroidery, but is still incredibly supportive and very flattering, again this bra has got lots of major fans.

There are many great towns and cities in Britain (outside London) that are perfect for a day’s shopping; Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Manchester, Cambridge and Brighton to name but a few. So why not indulge yourself and round up a couple of girlfriends and plan a day away? If you have children you could leave them with your partner (get him involved!). Sometimes school holidays can be more stressful and exhausting, so a break and a change of scenery to recharge your batteries will make you feel re-energized as you tackle the rest of the holidays. If you are single, just pick up the phone, your friends will be glad that someone has taken the initiave to organize something.
As its summer, let’s take a closer look at the city of Brighton and Hove on the south coast. Prince Regent made the area fashionable after his first visit in 1783; he fell in love with Brighton and went on to commission the building of The Royal Pavilion. In 1841 with the arrival of the railway, Brighton was more accessible to Londoners, it attracted many day trippers, the town was also known as a health resort, as the seawater was thought to bring many health benefits. Brighton is often known as ‘London by the Sea’, as it is just 50 minutes train journey from Victoria. Its population is made up of students from all over the world, young families and famously has a vibrant gay scene.
You will not get bored in Brighton, there is plenty to do. If you are there early enough you could have a delicious breakfast at Bill’s Produce Store (The Depot, 100 North Road), or for a traditional ‘greasy spoon’ you could go to Cafe Motu (6 Trafalgar Street), a no frills café that serves a fantastic English breakfast.
Then you could take a slow amble through the North Laines, and look at all the amazing independent shops selling vintage clothes, baby clothes, lovely homewear and beautiful jewellery. You could then book yourself in at The Treatment Rooms (New Road), a beauty salon and day spa. They offer all sorts of lovely treatments like a Swedish massage or an aromatherapy facial. You could then have a spot of lunch at Dermot O’Leary’s Fishy Fishy Seafood Brasserie (East Street).
After lunch you could pop into our Bravissimo store (North Street) and have a bra fitting from one of our experienced fitting consultants. If the sun is shining, and it usually is, there’s no better place to be. Give it a go this summer – and do pop in to our store to say hello!

These could be simple things like, getting into a lovely comfy bed when you are exhausted, taking a hot shower after being out in the elements, the smell of freshly cut grass/coffee/baked bread, or swimming in the sea… Well here in the Bravissimo office, it is agreed that one of our favourite things is bagging a bargain. Retail therapy works, and what is better than retail therapy? Retail therapy during a sale. It’s a great feeling buying that pair of shoes, coat or dress that you have had your eye on, at half the original price.
Beautiful lingerie can make you feel absolutely wonderful, so we have selected some great bras from Bravissimo and there’s no need to hide the bags or bin the receipt, as it is guilt free shopping. It is more than possible to look gorgeous, glamorous and sexy on a budget so read on.
The Flirty Frill Bra by Bravissimo in an ivory and pastel floral print mixed with an ivory lace frill. The style is an underwired balconette and is pretty but still very sexy and the feedback from our customers is that it is comfortable as well. The Flirty Floral Bra by Faubourg is another beautiful bra; again it is an underwired balconette. This bra comes in charcoal with a rose & cream floral print and is decorated with a fabulous organza rose ribbon, and the top of the cup features some pretty embroidery. The fabric is wonderfully soft, touchable and luxurious.
Freya bras are very popular with our Bravissimo ladies, and these following two bras are no exception, the Colette Bra by Freya, comes in black and pink, this bra is cute and sexy with the contrast of the black flirty frill and pink ribbon trim. The Colette bra offers more coverage in the cup and the fabric is microfibre, which means it has a satiny, soft feel. The Edith Bra by Freya in aqua is so pretty. With its combination of two different prints, it gives it that ditsy boho look. It is has a lower centre front, which is designed around the Pollyanna shape and it does create fantastic shape and curves.

This is undoubtedly true, as there is so much choice out there if you want to buy beautiful and sexy underwear. Sexy underwear for Bravissimo is nothing new, but we are continuing to add to our collection with more stunning designs and what makes us different from our competitors, is that our range is purposely designed with your boobs in mind. And we are even making some of our smaller-boobed friends jealous with our fabulous range, so we must be doing something right! Here are some super sexy and delectable new additions to our sensational sets.
Take a peek at the antique ivory Lula Mai Bra by Masquerade (exclusive to Bravissimo), with its contrasting sensuous satin, embroidery & lace. This is a gorgeous ‘plunge’, and is lightly padded offering great uplift and shape.
The French Bow Bra by Bravissimo is both cute and sexy whilst still offering comfort. The combination of the French bow and candy coral stripes is such a lovely touch. It’s an extra low plunge, so you may need to go down a cup size to find the perfect fit. You have two options with this set; you could go for the shorts, which are little striped pants with contrasting bows on either side, or the briefs, which feature the contrast of both the bows and stripes.
Finally there is Simone Bra by Fantasie, which oozes sophisticated sex appeal. This set also features stripes (which are very big this season) but again, this contrasts perfectly with the transparent fabric and lace detailing on the bra. It comes in delicious mint & choc and is an underwired balconette. The fabric is very soft and touchable and the side seaming detail pulls you in, whilst giving you incredible uplift too.

We are all familar with Bravissimo’s wide variety of colours to choose from when buying lingerie. And pretty embroided florals have been used since Victorian times on underwear. Bravissimo have some beautiful lingerie sets in this season’s ditsy floral prints, but what about other prints? There is no reason why you shouldn’t experiment a bit when it comes to what you wear under your clothes and Bravissimo have some very funky prints in the range. It used to be that printed textiles were only reserved for bikinis and swimsuits, now the trend has well and truly being bucked, and there is no stopping us when it comes to lingerie design.
The really great thing about printed bras is that if you are out and about this summer, like at a picnic with the girls or at an impromptu music festival, you can whip your top off and be out and proud of your fabulous boobs, and you will not look out of place – on the contrary you will definately turn a few heads. So pop into one of our shops over the weekend or look online and check out our great range of prints. Here’s a couple to get you started.
New from Bravissimo is the utterly delicious Sherbet Stripe Bra in candy stripes of pink and yellow with contrast pink lace and yellow bows. It’s an underwired balconette, with fullly ajustable shoulder straps. Available in sizes HH to K, it has additional lining for extra support.

If you are one of our Bravissimo ladies that will be heading down the gym, it is essential that you invest in a good, supportive, sports bra. We know the problems associated with wearing an unsupportive bra in our day to day life, but did you know that during exercise, your bigger boobs can bounce up to 14cm in a unsupported bra? As well as this being highly embarrassing for you – in front of your fellow gym goers – it’s also bad for your health. Exercising in the wrong bra can also cause breast pain and can result in permanent sagging. In short, finding the right sports bra can transform your workout, and turn you from a gym hater to a gym bunny.
Bravissimo have some great options, for a bra best suited to high intensity sports, with fantastic support, shape and no wire, try the D+ Max Sports Bra by Shock Absorber. Or for an underwire bra, choose the Active Underwired bra by Freya, this is a full cup with flexible underwiring, it is really supportive, comfortable and separates the boobs nicely creating a great shape. Its available in lots of colous, black, white, red, nude and graphite and lime which will be back in stock very soon.
So now you are all set, you will have to come up with another excuse to why you can’t hit the gym!

One of the highlights is the Irish Sky Garden by Diarmuid Gavin, known for his inventive and unusual garden design, and his latest creation doesn’t disappoint.
