We know the weather will get cooler, but it is certainly won’t be cold enough for the knits to come out just yet. So the best plan of action for October will be to choose some great transitional pieces that will work well if the temperature is warmer and can be layered when the temperature drops.
Pepperberry have some lovely day dresses that will fit the bill perfectly. As the flowers are still blooming, why not bring some vibrant florals to October? The Rose Belted Dress is an explosion of colour; it is a really classic shape with capped sleeves and a detachable brown belt. It can be worn with bare legs and pumps for the warmer days and a quilted fitted jacket, tights and brogues for when the cold weather sets in.
Another gorgeous floral is the Gypsy Floral Dress. This dress is a really feminine and floaty dress and perfect for this time of year, it is made from a light chiffon fabric so has an inner slip, it has a long sleeves and a pretty frill at the bottom. It is cut under the bust, so it draws attention to the narrowest part of the body. This dress is a really great fit and very flattering.
The Jersey Floral Belted Dress is such an easy-to-wear dress. It is a perfect weight for late summer and early autumn, it has ¾ length sleeves and a scoop neck. It’s a really pretty dress and features soft gathers at the front and a lovely dove grey belt. On a warm day, this dress could be worn with peep toe wedges and on colder days, a Mac and navy opaque tights and knee high boots.
