There has been much giddiness in the Bravissimo office lately. The biggest boy band in history are touring once again and the ladies who saw them first time around (when they were still at school), are seeing them again and are even more excited at the prospect, if that is at all possible. Every so often on Twitter or Facebook, someone will write “I am so excited, only X amount of hours and counting til Take That!” There is something about those boys that makes them universally loved. A couple of them in the past may have looked like they were going to damage their reputation, but they seem to bounce back monumentally. Maybe, apart from the brilliant music they keep churning out, it is their ‘down to earth’ nature. We all have the feeling, that if we were to bump into any of the Take That boys in a lift, they would be friendly, funny and lacking any ego (apart from Robbie), and obviously they are all just a tad handsome too.
Unbelievably, there are still some tickets available for the next three days at Wembley. If you have missed out on tickets and can go last minute, check out Take That’s official website. And for a few show-stopping tops to wear if you are going, check out Pepperberry, we have some gorgeous embellished and sparkly tops that will stand out in the crowds. The Shoulder Detail Top is a slinky cowl neck and comes in curvy/really curvy and really/super curvy. The lovely soft taupe which is very on trend, will look great with white jeans and nude heels. The Side Embellished Jersey Top in black, is a wrap-over style top in a figure hugging stretch fabric, it is a deep v, so a plunge bra will be necessary with this one. Wear with an indigo pair of skinny jeans and some rock chick black suede wedges and you are all set for your greatest day…

It’s Wimbledon fortnight and everyone is getting a bit overexcited. The All-England Club is awash with the world’s finest tennis players, the seats, stands and hills are packed full of British women cheering on their heroes, eating strawberries & cream, drinking champagne and generally having a great time. It is also the time of year, when your local park’s tennis courts are packed with hopefuls desperately trying to emulate Andy Murray or Laura Robson.
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a tennis pro, then Bravissimo can recommend the Freya Active Underwired bra, we have been told by some of our Bravissimo ladies, that this is a great sports bra for high impact sports like tennis. The Freya Active will keep your boobs securely in place, fully supported, but still gives great shape and uplift and is super comfortable too. It comes in a great range of colours, including graphite/lime, red, nude, black and white. We have plenty of the black and white available, and keep checking our website, as the other colours will be back in stock soon. Enjoy the rest of Wimbledon ladies, we know we will.

Whatever the weather at Glastonbury (last year very sunny, 2007 the wettest on record, this year starting wet, but will dry up, fingers crossed) the festival is THE place to do some people watching and it’s a fantastic opportunity to check out some amazing fashion. Looking good at a festival is an art, it has to look effortless and you have to be prepared for rain & shine.
So if our Bravissimo girls are heading to any of this summer’s festivals, here is your definitive guide to what to wear and what to bring. Pepperberry have some great festival fashion, the Crinkle Tiered Dress in orange is the perfect festival dress and will look great with a pair of posh Hunter wellies. Don’t forget your shorts, like Pepperberry’s Button Front Short in navy, they also look really cute with a pair of wellies, (and navy won’t show the mud). The Viscose Floral Scarf just screams Glastonbury, and a scarf is a pretty handy piece of clothing at a festival, it will keep your neck warm at night when there is a nip in the air, it will also protect you from the sun, if it gets too hot. The Long Shell Necklace has that hippy vibe and will complete your festival outfit.
Other Essential Items:
Long socks, (there is nothing worse than short socks disappearing into the depths of your wellies)
Small purse or bag, that you can wear across the body
Wellies (don’t bother with any other kind of footwear)
Waterproof jacket with hood
And don’t forget your toothbrush (you never know who you might kiss)

The Printed Wrap Dress comes in sunny yellow, which is on trend at the moment. Wrap dresses are hugely flattering for bigger boobs, so this dress really does create amazing cleavage. It is suitable for work, worn with a fitted jacket and heels, or a day out with the girls, accessorising with a cardi and a pair of wedges.
Everyone needs a maxi dress in their wardrobe, they are great for a holiday to make you feel a bit dressed up after a day in your beachwear, or for a wedding or day at the races. The Floral Print Maxi Dress is a beautiful, feminine and floaty maxi, it has a large, vibrant floral and is fully lined.
The Bandeau Strappy Top in fitted jersey, is a must have for every summer wardrobe, it comes in black, cobalt blue, lemon, orange and white, you can wear it as a bandeau, or with the strap as a halterneck, it has a integrated bra, so you can go braless too. This top is extremely versatile, you could wear it with wide palazzo pants, cropped tapered chinos, a fifties full skirt, or a great pair of shorts; which brings us nicely to the Button Front Short, they come in navy and white and look great with a vest, or a little cotton shirt and waistcoat for that smarter look.
Finally to finish off your summer looks, you need something fabulous on your arm, so check out the Canvas Shopper Bag, this bag is an excellent wardrobe staple and will look great with any of the above outfits.

We are all familar with Bravissimo’s wide variety of colours to choose from when buying lingerie. And pretty embroided florals have been used since Victorian times on underwear. Bravissimo have some beautiful lingerie sets in this season’s ditsy floral prints, but what about other prints? There is no reason why you shouldn’t experiment a bit when it comes to what you wear under your clothes and Bravissimo have some very funky prints in the range. It used to be that printed textiles were only reserved for bikinis and swimsuits, now the trend has well and truly being bucked, and there is no stopping us when it comes to lingerie design.
The really great thing about printed bras is that if you are out and about this summer, like at a picnic with the girls or at an impromptu music festival, you can whip your top off and be out and proud of your fabulous boobs, and you will not look out of place – on the contrary you will definately turn a few heads. So pop into one of our shops over the weekend or look online and check out our great range of prints. Here’s a couple to get you started.
New from Bravissimo is the utterly delicious Sherbet Stripe Bra in candy stripes of pink and yellow with contrast pink lace and yellow bows. It’s an underwired balconette, with fullly ajustable shoulder straps. Available in sizes HH to K, it has additional lining for extra support.
Or for a bra that gives fantastic cleavage, take a look at the Karina Bra from Cleo. A Bravissimo exclusive, it’s a plunge bra which is underwired and lightly padded. The fun star print comes in Aqua/Lemon and Melon.

The good news is that the transition between chillier and warmer weather at this time of year can easily be navigated with items that you probably already have in your wardrobe, add them to your summer clothes and you have a wardrobe that will see you through to August.
The denim jacket is a winner this time of year and everyone has one somewhere in their wardrobe. A denim jacket can be worn over a pretty day dress, see Pepperberry’s Cotton Frill Day Dress, or looks fantastic with a maxi dress, like Bravissimo’s Coral Print Maxi Dress, and, if sandals are a touch too optimistic, a pair of plimsolls will work just as well with both of these looks.
The other great transitional piece is ‘The Shirt’ – it can be worn with jeans, or this season’s khaki or beige chinos. See Pepperberry’s fabulous Relaxed Fit Chinos in stone. The humble shirt can also be worn with a button through denim skirt, which is more substantial than a cotton skirt, if the weather is chilly. So whether it’s classic white or checked, the shirt is a must, for the changeable weather. Don’t miss Pepperberry’s own version – the Check Woven Blouse.
A boyfriend cardigan is incredibly versatile, it can be belted and worn over tapered trousers or skinny jeans and can also be worn loose over shorts or a dress. Pepperberry’s Boyfriend Cardigan in Mocha looks fabulous over the Mint Swirl Dress, wear with leggings, if there is a nip in the air. Also everywhere in the high street at the moment you will find shorts. Love them or hate them, Pepperberry have a pretty fabulous pair, the Button Front Shorts in white, which look great with a wide striped vest or t-shirt, add plimsolls or a pair of wedges to complete the nautical look.
So we can now feel confident that whatever the British weather throws at us in the coming months, we have it covered and, someone once said, “There is no such thing as bad weather only bad clothes.”

Men often wonder why women love shoes so much, yet the answer is simple. Women love shoes because no matter how much our weight fluctuates over the years, shoes will always fit. That way we can justify spending lots of money on them as we will wear them for many years, decades even, whereas the sporting equipment they spent hundreds of pounds on have only ever been used twice.
As fashion trends change so do shoe trends, therefore we’ve rounded up the top five shoe trends for spring/summer and what they’ll look best with, enjoy!
1) Wooden wedges; they’ve already been around for a couple of seasons but this time they’re a little fiercer than previous with contrasting materials and stud detailing. Wear with a floaty floral dress to add attitude or with cropped trousers and a floppy hat to channel the 70s vibe.
2) The ankle tie shoe; this is definitely a look for summer but bare it in mind for when the warmer weather approaches. The look ranges from super high heels to flats and everything in between, however, they all have one thing in common; a very cute tie detail around the ankle. The prettiest of them all is the scarf tie, go for a bold pattern or colour to add interest to a simple summer dress; go gypsy chic with a gingham print or glamorous with an animal print, this style of shoe will also look great on holiday.
3) White heels; no longer restricted to the stereotyped Essex girl, white high heels are big in the style stakes this season. Wear yours with a floral print dress, tailored trousers or a sharp and stylish pencil skirt. Just don’t go dancing around your handbag whilst wearing them!
4) Neon heels; if you don’t fancy colour clashing your outfit this season, then add a shot of statement colour with your footwear. In the brightest shades of yellow, pink, blue and green, neon shoes are a great way to get on trend without forking out a small fortune for lots of new outfits. For ultimate contrast where your neon heels with a LBD and a neon handbag in a contrasting colour.
5) Super flats; give your tootsies a break in a pair of ballet pumps or super flat sandals this season. We do love a heel but couldn’t wear them everyday and so are grateful for the return of the flat. The flat shoe in whatever style, whether it’s a pump, sandal, loafer or brogue style shouldn’t be restricted to day wear. Go for a shiny metallic, embellished or simple chic style and wear on your next night out. You’ll be amazed at just how dressy a flat shoe can look and you’ll be dancing all night long! Wear with a glam maxi dress, maxi skirt or tailored trousers that are cropped at the ankle to shoe off your fabulous flats just make sure you pile on enough accessories and dress the look up to compensate for the lack of heelage!
